Foothills CBT, a private group psychology practice in Boulder, CO, is seeking a Licensed or License-Eligible Psychologist with exceptional training and experience to join our team. We provide evidence-based psychological services to children, adolescents, college students, and adults, treating a wide range of presenting concerns with CBT, DBT, ACT, and other empirically supported approaches. Applicants must be licensed or license eligible in Colorado (or completing a postdoctoral fellowship). This position is an excellent fit for psychologists with a passion for treating anxiety disorders and OCD, or those who enjoy providing DBT to college-aged students and young adults.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is structured as fee-for-service, with earnings based on a percent of provided services. Licensed Psychologists with full caseloads can expect an annual income in the range of $90,000-$120,000. In addition to fee-for-service earnings, our comprehensive compensation package includes medical, dental and vision insurance; liability insurance; retirement benefits; paid sick leave, generous vacation leave; and reimbursement for technology and continuing education. All team members also receive weekly case consultation and peer supervision.

Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025-2026 to Staff Position 2026-2027

Foothills CBT is seeking exceptionally trained Postdoctoral Fellows for the 2026-2027 training year, with a built-in pathway to transition into a staff psychologist position in 2027–2028.

Postdoctoral Candidates must hold a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited Ph.D. or Psy.D. program and have completed an APA-approved internship in clinical psychology. The qualified candidate must have experience and supervised training in at least two evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT).  

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is structured as fee-for-service, with earnings based on a percentage of services provided. Full-time postdoctoral fellows can expect an annual income ranging from $55,000–$75,000, based on caseload. In addition, fellows receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; liability insurance; retirement benefits; paid sick leave; generous vacation leave; and reimbursement for additional training opportunities.

Training & Professional Development
At Foothills CBT, training and growth are central to the fellowship experience. We follow a growth-based training model, supporting fellows in a gradual progression toward increasing autonomy as independent clinicians. Fellows receive weekly individual supervision and weekly group supervision to support clinical skill development and licensure preparation, in a truly open-door environment. They also benefit from ongoing case consultation, mentorship from experienced psychologists, and advanced training opportunities. Fellows are encouraged to develop expertise in a clinical area of interest or evidence-based treatment specialty and will be supported in building that focus into their long-term caseload.
