Child and Adolescent Psychologist- Immediate or Fall 2026

Foothills CBT Psychology Group is seeking a licensed or license-eligible psychologist with a focus on children and adolescents to join our full-time team. Our clinicians are extensively trained in evidence-based treatment, bringing deep expertise across cognitive, behavioral, and acceptance-based approaches to work with children, adolescents, and adults throughout Colorado and across all PSYPACT states.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program

  • Licensed or license-eligible in Colorado, or currently completing an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship

  • Formal training in evidence-based modalities

  • Clinical experience with children and adolescents; interest in working with additional age groups is welcome and supported

  • Exceptional diagnostic, conceptualization, and treatment skills; clear and warm communication with clients, families, and collateral providers

  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently while thriving in a collaborative, consultation-rich environment

  • Multicultural competence and commitment to inclusive, affirming care

  • Comfort with telehealth and electronic health record documentation

Postdoctoral Fellowship - 2026 - 2027

Foothills CBT Psychology Group is seeking an exceptionally trained postdoctoral fellow for the 2026--2027 training year, with a built-in pathway to transition into a staff psychologist position in 2027--2028.

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited PhD or PsyD program and have completed an APA-approved internship in clinical psychology. The ideal candidate has experience and supervised training in at least two evidence-based approaches and a strong interest in working with children, adolescents, and families.

Training & Professional Development At Foothills CBT, training and growth are central to the fellowship experience. We follow a growth-based model, supporting fellows in a gradual progression toward clinical autonomy. Fellows receive weekly individual and group supervision, ongoing case consultation, and mentorship from experienced psychologists. Fellows are encouraged to foster expertise in a clinical area of interest and will be supported in building that focus into their long-term caseload.

A Clear Career Path This fellowship is structured to ensure fellows are prepared for independent practice and licensure, with the opportunity to continue their careers at Foothills CBT. Fellows who demonstrate strong clinical skills and alignment with our values are invited to transition directly into a staff psychologist position upon licensure.
